To get a good action sharp shot you need to have your camera on TV mode. You also need to have a really fast shutter speed around a 1000 or so. To get a good motion blur picture you need to have a really slow shutter speed at least under 60 to get a good blur. This is how you get a good motion blur or action sharp picture.
